Sarsaparilla herb was traditionally used in soft drinks. It is a flavour famous throughout Lancashire and beyond as a herbal drink and used to be sold in Temperance Bars along with other old favourite flavours such as Dandelion & Burdock, Ginger Beer and Cream Soda.
