Bonfire toffee is a traditional English sweet associated with Halloween and Guy Fawkes night (Bonfire Night).
It it made from dark treacle and is a hard, brittle toffee. Other names include treacle toffee, cinder toffee, Plot toffee, Tom Trot. Known as Claggum in Scotland and Loshin Du in Wales.
